Keeping with the theme of keeping it simple, I am using this TP Link Router as the “wires” to make this wired device wireless. Its a simple and cheap solution to an ethernet connection, and Luca has an awesome tutorial here that shows how to use it with the ethernet shield.
I have all the data being sent to cosm.com – the Internet of Things service (formerly pachube.) The data is then graphed as a “feed,” and allows for several “triggers” to be set – a convenient one being the ability to send out a tweet when certain parameters are reached.
